Description

Noble and generous, glory of old Piedmont, a wine suitable for long aging, Barolo Conca is the absolute master of the table. It conquers the palate with the conviction of strength, harmony and fullness and holds its sway at length. The “Conca dell’Abbazia dell’Annunziata” (The hollow of the Abbey of our Lady of the Annunciation) is one of the oldest sub zones of the entire Barolo District, an area already appreciated by the Benedictine Monks for its particular soil and microclimate. The Barolo DOCG Marcenasco Conca is boldly full-bodied and tannic. It’s color is garnet red. A delicate and persistent bouquet with traces of licorice and Lebanese cedar pine. Full flavored, warm and tannic.
