Description
Made from grapes from the vineyard San Bernardo in Serralunga d’Alba, it is the result of a long process of maturation in the cellar for at least six years.
A complex and austere wine, whose nose evokes rock, rosemary and bitter orange, but also red fruits and vanilla. On the palate, there is a vigorous taste of tannin, which then opens up in a finale of liquorice and balsamic notes. We have chosen to produce our Barolo San Bernardo from only the best vintage years.
AROMA: Pleasant, intense and ethereal, of black cherry fruit, cedar fruitcake, dried herbs, licorice, and hints of new oak.
TASTE: Impressions of black cherry, citron, fruit tarte.
FOOD AFFINITY: Braised or roasted meats, wild game, seasoned and strong cheeses. To be decanted and served at a temperature of 18° C.
