43.80

Chiara Boschis’s Barbera d’Alba Superiore comes from vineyards located in the Cuneo municipality of Monforte d’Alba, in Piedmont.

It is made exclusively from Barbera grapes, harvested and selected solely by hand, starting in the second week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with automatic temperature control at around 28°C. The wine then matures for 16 months in second-passage French oak barriques and for 2-3 months in the bottle before release.

The Barbera d’Alba Superiore di Chiara Boschis has a ruby red colour with violet hues. The nose opens with fruity hints of small red fruits, plum and blueberry, enriched by light spicy notes. The palate is full, enveloping and warm.

Perfect with first courses and barbecued white meats, it is ideal with roasts and mature cheeses.
