The Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte Friulano Dolée of the Vie di Romans estate originates from vineyards located in the municipality of Mariano del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia.
It is made from pure Friulano grapes, harvested and selected solely by hand in the month of September. After a brief cold maceration, fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 16-19°C for 16 days. The wine then matures for 8 months on its lees and in the bottle for a further 10 months before release.
It presents a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose opens with clear citrus scents, enriched by elegant woody hints. On the palate it is fresh and savoury, full-bodied and soft.
Perfect with hors d’oeuvres and first courses, it is ideal with grilled or baked fish.
