Whilst the Santa Caterina flirts with a lifted nose, the Lazzairasco possesses all that is savoury in Nebbiolo’s wealthy arsenal. Sweet musk, leather and tar with just a hint of scented orange coming through. The 2011 vintage suits Porro’s wines so well; the delicious lacy texture complementing the serious yet delightful tannic grip.
